DASSRS

Processing Fee

To support the cost of editorial operations, peer review, typesetting, indexing, and digital archiving, Dama Academic Scholarly & Scientific Research Society (DASSRS) charges a processing fee of $100 per article accepted for publication in its journals and conference proceedings.

Purpose of the Processing Fee

The processing fee is used to:

  • Maintain high-quality peer review and editorial services
  • Manage manuscript tracking and submission systems
  • Ensure digital preservation and indexing of published work
  • Support open-access availability and global visibility of research
  • Cover administrative and technical costs associated with publishing

Fee Structure

  • Amount: A flat processing fee of USD 100 applies per accepted article.
  • Payment Due: The fee becomes payable only after the manuscript has been accepted for publication.
  • Submission is free of charge; no fees are required at the time of initial manuscript submission.

Payment Methods

Payment instructions will be provided to the corresponding author upon acceptance. DASSRS accepts:

  • Bank transfer
  • Online payment gateways (PayPal, credit/debit cards)
  • Mobile money (where applicable)

An official invoice and receipt will be issued after payment.

Fee Responsibility

  • The corresponding author is responsible for coordinating the payment of the processing fee.
  • Authors may use institutional funding, research grants, or personal funds to cover the cost.
  • DASSRS does not charge additional fees for multiple authors or colour figures.

Refund Policy

  • Processing fees are non-refundable once payment is made and the article has entered the final stages of publication.
  • If the author withdraws a manuscript before editorial processing begins, a partial refund may be considered at the discretion of DASSRS.

Transparency and Ethical Compliance

  • DASSRS maintains a strict separation between editorial decision-making and payment processing.
  • Acceptance of manuscripts is based solely on academic merit and peer review outcomes, not on ability to pay.
