NugraheniTriana Putri1 | Al Munawir2 | Dewi Rokhmah3 Abstract Information Center and Teenager Counseling (PIK-R) played a crucial role to help teenager in order to get information and appropriate counseling service regarding to reproduction health, HIV, and AIDS as well as NAPZA. Jember District had 588 of total boarding schools where the majority of students were in teenage. The formation of PIK-R in this boarding school was much needed. Objectives: To analyze resource as a readiness dimension of boarding school community in the formation of information center and teenager counseling (PIK-R) in Jember District. Methods: Quantitative research design which exerted cross sectional approach since May 2019. The research sample was taken from 93 respondents who were consisted of 2 respondents of student and 1 respondent of administrator in each selected boarding school by employing purposive sampling technique and judgment sampling in each boarding school in sub-district. Whilst, the data analysis in this research used spearman correlation. Finding: This research finding confirmed a significant relation between resource and formation of PIK-R in the boarding school. Conclusion: The readiness of boarding school community which was related to the resource within the formation of PIK-R was very important. However, the support from PLKB and BKKBN to the management of PIK-R has not evenly distributed. Keywords: Resource, Teenager, PIK-R, Boarding School |
