All authors, reviewers, and editors must disclose financial, institutional, or personal relationships that may influence the research.

Examples include:

  • Funding ties
  • Employment
  • Personal or professional relationships
  • Intellectual property interests

 

Disclosure is required:

  • At submission (authors)
  • Upon accepting review (reviewers)
  • During editorial decision-making (editors)
